Bulls_Vs_TrojansThe Casino RSM Bulls were handed a heavy defeat at Lennox Head on Saturday as the reigning Premiers put on a showcase in backline precision, running in nine tries to win 55-7. The Trojans made full use of their superiority in pace and ball movement by scoring majority of their tries from breaks out wide. Although the scoreline did not reflect it, the Bulls held their own in the middle of the park with strong forward play, getting the better of their opponents in many of the physical clashes that were fought out.
Hollywood_trophyThe Casino RSM Bulls have managed to put a bright spot in a lackluster season by defeating the Grafton Red Men 41-17 to retain the Craig ‘Hollywood’ Nicholls trophy. This perpetual trophy is played for by Casino and Grafton each year. The Casino men showed some real club spirit, with many first graders pulling on a reserve grade jumper prior to their own game to fill in due to lack of numbers.

Bulls_Vs_SCU_resizedThe Casino RSM Bulls were nothing if not entertaining in their loss to Southern Cross University on the weekend. In a game that featured a combined 10 tries, the vocal Casino travelling supporters were able to view some great attacking rugby from both sides. The Bulls required 10 minutes to switch on at the start of the match and the Gold Rats took full advantage by laying on 2 quick tries. Following some determined forward play, Casino made their way into university territory and Cale berry was able to put his blinding pace to work down the touchline for Casino’s first try.

Bulls_Vs_PioneersThe Casino RSM Bulls travelled to Lyle Park at Wollongbar on the weekend looking to keep their semi final hopes afloat. The Bulls forward pack was back at full strength with powerhouse second rower Mark McCormack making his long-awaited return from injury. The first half was a tightly contested arm-wrestle, with both teams putting on tries, however, Casino had the upper hand 10-7 at half time following a Brenton Fuller penalty goal. Carl Tahatu, making his debut in the backline this season, pounced on a loose ball to score the try that was the result of some tenacious defence by casino.
