The 54 hole lead inthe "Ongmac Club Championships" remains with Scott Thomson at 6 over par 216, a two shot break onhis nearest rivals, after a three over round on Saturday.

On 218 there is Mark Bratti and defending Champion, Brad McLennan, with Luke Bodley next on 223

Rodney Wells has overtaken Danny Kannedy in A Reserve Grade, after Kennedy returned an 86 on Saturday to Wells' 79, which gives the latter a three shot advantage, 245 to 248. Glenn Stewart is next on 250

B Grade is shaping up for a good contest inthe final round, with Garry Randall still in front on 261 from the consistent Terry O'Brien,who is on 264 after three rounds of 88, Greg O'Leary appers to be the other main threat on 265

Despite a round of 97, Bob Nolan holds on to a one stroke lead in C Grade, on 275, from Philip Johnson on 276, with Amos Kennedy next on 280

The nett leaders are, in A Grade, Mark Bratti, on 199, from Brad McLennan on 209, in A Reserve Rodney Wells is infront on 206, six ahead of Neil Gillett.

Terry O'Brien and Garry Randall share the lead in B Grade on 216,  while Andy Shaw, on 213 leads C Grade from Bradley Hall, 215, and Garry Shephard 216

In the daily comp., Tony Rea,[36], staged a form reversal to win C Grade with the best score of the day, a nett 64. Mick O'neill,[21], was runner up in the Grade back on 71.

John Fuhrmann,[20], visiting from Caloundra, continued to enjoyhis stay, winning B Grade with 65, from Michael Greentree ,[20], on 70

A Grade went to Mark Bratti,[6], with 65, one ahead of the unfortunate Kevin Playfair,[14], with what could have been on other days a winning 66.

There was a count back on 75 for golf balls

The Chamionships conclude next Saturday, with the top 8 players in each Grade in a seeded draw
