Sextonville Rural Fire Brigade is located approximately 25kms outside Casino and helps in fire prevention and mitigation throughout the Sextonville area. Covering the communities of Stratheden, Doubtful Creek, Babyl Creek, and many others, this volunteer brigade aids in keeping the community safe and informed regarding fires as well as motor vehicle accidents.

The brigade also provides safety services for many events, that require fire suppression services.
