Nat's Life now a book
Tamworth man Brian Sullivan has written a book about his former neighbour Nat Corrigan, of Stratheden.
The book recounts Mr Corrigan's life growing up at Piora in the 1880's, the selection of his own property which he lost in the Depression, his work on Dyraaba Station and finally his move to a dairy farm at Stratheden.
Mr Corrigan died in 1962 anged 83.

Aglow Casino
All women are invited to attend Aglow-Casino's next fellowship function on Tuesday, February 15, at the North Coast Community Church building, 67 Richmond Street, Casino, at 10am.

Parenting Group
Bookings are now open for a free six week parenting group run by the Casino Family Support Service, 104 Centre Street, Casino, each Thursday for six weeks from 9:30am to 11:30am.
It is open to mothers, fathers, grandparents, and carers.
Topics to be discussed will include understanding children's behaviour, communication, and role of the parent.

Cake Decorating Day at Casino
The Kyogle branch of Cake Decorators will hold a demonstration day on Saturday, February 26, at the Casino Golf Club.
The day, which is open to anyone interested in learning more about cake decorating, will begin at 9am with Morning Tea followed by demonstrations at 9:30am.
Guest demonstrators will be Evan Jones and Maureen Martin from Sydney, Rina Van Ess from Brisbane and Maureen Gass from Inverell.
The cost of the day including morning tea and lunch is $25.

Boundaries Group
A Boundaries Group for women who have ever experienced family violence or abusive relationships will be held from February 15 to April 5 at Casino Community Health.
The group aims to develop protective behaviours and build confidence and assertiveness. Bookings are essential and can be made by phoning 6662 4444.
Story Time
A free story time session called "Bookworms" is available to all children between the ages of three to five years of age every fortnight in the children's section of Casino Library.
The group introduces children to the joys of literature and language through stories, poetry, puppets, songs and craft.
