Mark Bratti,[11], found Robert Beacroft,[31], and they teamed up for the 2 Man Ambrose on the 27th November, with happy results.
The event was played off 1/4 of the combined handicaps, and each member was required to submit 8 tee shots, and the lads manged a 1 under par,69, round off the stick, for a winning nett total of 58.5.
Head greenkeeper, Mick Greber,[6], brought son , Shaun,[17], out to show off his handiwork,[ with some justification], and they demonstrated how good things were, by having 67 hits to claim the runner up hamper, with a nett 61.25. This score was also returned by Brian Butler,[16], and John Nipperess,[27], but the Grebers had a stronger count back.
All scores of 64.5 or better won golf balls
Thusday's Single Stroke went to former member, Denis Crowley,[15], who made the trip from Lismore worth while, blitzing the field with a nett 62. The next best was Allan Wagener,[35], on 64.
There was a count back on 71 for golf balls
