The first of two stroke rounds for the "Mulherin and Schier Spring Cup" was played on Saturday, with a temporary hole in play, due to improvements being undertaken to the 12th tee and greenside bunkering.

The consistent Terry O'Brien,[17], was runner up in B Grade,with 68 while Rod Trustum,[27], filled that position in C Grade, on 66.
John Riggall,[10], was victorious in a Grade, after a count back on 69, with Adam Shields,[5].
