Peter Flick, now off 28, has confounded the critics by winning his fourth Thursday Comp. in a row. This time with a more modest 40pts, on a day when the chances of later players were just about wiped out by heavy rain.
Terry Mortimer ,[21], was runner up, with 39pts.
There was a count back on 34pts for golf balls.
On Saturday, the comp. was a 4 Man Stableford Teams event, where the worst score was dropped at each hole. The winning team was that of Shane Hogan,[20], Wayne Mortimer,[17], Matthew Sullivan,[19], and Adam Shields,[4], who averaged 3.7 points per hole for a 132pt total.
Runners up, after a count back were Brian Bevin, Gary Ellem, Michael O'Reilly, and Peter O'Brien, on 130pts
