Regular player Bill Stanford,[16], came upon Dillon Hancock,[21], at soccer training, and on finding that Hancock also "played a bit of golf", took him onboard as a partner for the "Chandlers" 2 Ball with happy results. The two new best friends combined for a total of 53pts, and a clear win.
The runners up, both off 9, did well accumulating 49pts, they being John Riggall and Adam Taylor.

The Single Stableford in conjunction went to Stephen Schultz,[27], after a four way count back on 42pts. John Riggall was runner up, with stephen Humphrys and Bob Betts unluckily missing out.

Keith Knight,[17], although fading rapidly, with two triple bogies to finish his round, held on to win Thursday's single Strole andthe "Naked Blonde Challenge" with nett 65, one shot ahead of Wally Bell.
